Jazz dance
Jazz is a fast and energetic style of dance. You can see some ballet (ballet training is required to be a jazz dancer) and modern jazz elements in it, however, it looks really different. Its origin lies in the dances done by African slaves that were brought to America. At the beginning it used to be something more like a street dance, but now it's a style performed in theaters by professional dancers. Jazz steps look unique and dancers are encouraged to add personality into their dancing. There are a lot of leaps, quick turns and fancy footwork. Jazz is often shown in music videos, commercials and TV shows, because people enjoy watching such full of energy dance routines. Music used for jazz is usually upbeat. It might be hip hop or pop, definitely something fun. Personally, it's one of my favorite styles to watch.
